A Glimpse Into a Montessori Learning Journey at Northside
Northside Montessori was proud to participate in the recent Northshore School Expo, where we connected with families seeking a holistic and future-focused education for their children. The event provided a wonderful opportunity to share the essence of Montessori education and showcase the exciting developments happening within our school.
At our booth, we presented Northside Montessori’s full educational offering — from Prep through to Year 12 — highlighting our commitment to nurturing independent, confident, and curious learners. A key focus of interest was our senior school program, including the introduction of the International Baccalaureate (IB) Diploma Programme for Years 11 and 12 in 2026. Families were eager to learn how this globally recognised qualification aligns with Montessori principles and supports students in becoming thoughtful, internationally minded individuals.
We were especially delighted to engage with many prospective families exploring early education options for Prep and Kindergarten, as well as those interested in high school pathways. Conversations often centred around the unique advantages of a Montessori environment — from our tailored approach to learning, to the way we foster intrinsic motivation and personal growth.
The event was attended by our Enrolments Registrar, Deputy Principal, and several of our passionate educators, who were on hand to answer questions and share insights about life at Northside. Their presence reflected the strong sense of community and dedication that defines our school.
