Governance and Policies

Northside Montessori Society is a non-profit company, limited by guarantee. It is governed by a Board of non-paid directors who are accountable to the members and to all stakeholders. Their actions are governed by the Society’s Constitution and the Corporations Act.

Families with a child at the school are members of the Society and are eligible to vote at Annual General Meetings of the Society and to be elected to the school Board.

The objectives and powers of the Society are outlined in its Constitution. Management of the school is delegated to the Principal who is supported in their duties by Board committees and the Executive Team.
